Active Learning Training class VIII, was again held virtually by the UMI Resource Research and Development Institute (LP2S), Monday-Friday (10-14 August 2020).
Learning methods continue to develop following the times, it is no longer the time for lecturers to just give or deliver lecture material monotonously, but lecturers must motivate students to actively ask questions, so that dialogue occurs. For this reason, lecturers also have to learn a lot because with the sophistication of technology and the openness of information, it is possible that students know more than their lecturers. So, this is a challenge for lecturers to study harder before teaching.
This training lasted for 5 days, with material including, Learning Policies in Higher Education by Prof. Dr. H. Syahnur Said, M.Si, Active learning in PT by Dr.H. Bernard, M.Si, Higher Level Thinking by Dr. Abdul Saman, M. Si, Kons, Active Learning Model in PT by Dr. Farida Aryani, M.Pd, Management Classroom by Prof. Dr. Aris Munandar, M.Pd, Educating Learning by Dr. Andi Bunyamin, M.Pd, Large Class Learning by Dr. Abdullah Sinring, Preparing Instructional Design for Large Classes by Dr. Pattaupi, M.Pd and Active Learning Through Information Technology by Dr. M. Rais, MP, MT.
