UMI is again holding PEKERTI training for Batch LII in 2026 for lecturers throughout Indonesia

Makassar — Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) through the Institute for Research and Development of Resources (LP2S) is holding another eventBasic Instructional Techniques Skills Improvement Training (PEKERTI)Class LII in May 2026. This activity is open to lecturers from State Universities (PTN) and Private Universities (PTS) throughout Indonesia.

PEKERTI training is a strategic program that aims to improve the pedagogical competence of lecturers, especially in designing, implementing and evaluating effective and innovative learning processes. This activity is also part of an impactful effort to improve the quality of higher education.

Training will be carried out online (online) via the Zoom platform on the dateMay 18 to 25, 2026. Participants will get various supporting facilities, among otherstraining certificates, learning materials, training videos, and SISTER validationwhich is really needed in developing lecturers' academic careers.

The chairman of the committee said that the implementation of PEKERTI is expected to be able to equip lecturers with instructional skills that are adaptive to current developments, as well as encourage the creation of learning that is more interactive, student-oriented and based on learning outcomes.

"Through this activity, we want to ensure that lecturers have strong basic competencies in the learning process, so that they are able to produce graduates who are superior, competitive and have good morals," he said.
