Makassar– The Institute for Research and Development of Resources (LP2S) at the Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) is again opening registrationBasic Skills Improvement Training in Instructional Techniques (PEKERTI) Batch LV (55)which will be held regularlyonline (online)via Zoom Meeting onJuly 20–27, 2026.

This training is part of LP2S UMI's commitment to supporting increasing lecturer pedagogical competence and strengthening the quality of learning in higher education. This program is open tolecturers at State Universities (PTN) and Private Universities (PTS) throughout Indonesiawho want to improve basic skills in designing, implementing and evaluating learning processes in accordance with higher education standards.

During the training, participants will receive various supporting facilities, among otherstraining certificate,learning materials,training videos, as wellvalidation on the Integrated Resource Information System (SISTER)as a form of recognition of the development of lecturer competence.

The Chairman of LP2S UMI said that holding PEKERTI Training was one of the real efforts of the Indonesian Muslim University to support improving the quality of higher education through sustainable lecturer capacity development.

"Through PEKERTI Training, we hope that lecturers will be able to develop a learning process that is more innovative, student-centered, and in line with the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) paradigm and applicable higher education policies. This program is also a forum for sharing experiences and good practices between educators from various universities in Indonesia,"he said.

Training will be carried out on a regular basissynchronous and asynchronoususing the Zoom platform and Learning Management System (LMS), thus providing flexibility for participants to participate in the entire series of activities effectively from their respective locations.

The training fee is set atRp. 1,800,000. Payment is made via accountBank Mandiri Number 152-00-9508350-3 in the name of the UMI Waqf Foundation, by including information"Characteristics"at the time of transfer.
