LP2S UMI has again shown its extension in increasing the resource capacity of Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) Makassar lecturers by holding SPPS and AMOS workshops. This workshop was attended by 30 participants from several universities in Makassar. The workshop which lasted for two (2) days, Saturday-Sunday 15-16 February 2020, was held in the UMI LP2S Hall, UMI Tower 3rd Floor.
In this workshop, there were two presenters who provided material and direction to workshop participants, namely; Prof. Dr. Baharuddin Semmaila, S.E., M.Si and Dr. Andi Mappatompo, M.Sc.
This workshop began with giving a pre-test to workshop participants, which was then continued with material on hypothesis formulation and model selection for statistical testing, development of analytical models presented by Prof. Dr. Baharuddin Semmaila, S.E., M.S. On the second day, the material continued with the basics of operating SPSS and AMOS, practical operations of SPSS and AMOS, interpretation of data processing results presented by Dr. Andi Mappatompo, M.Sc.
This workshop closed by holding a post-test for workshop participants to see the progress of the participants' SPSS and AMOS skills after receiving the training for two (2) consecutive days.
