A total of 320 superior proposing lecturers divided into 15 groups presented their research proposals via an online system using Zoom Meeting. This presentation will take place from 22-23 July 2024.
Chair of the UMI Resource Research and Development Institute (LP2S), Prof. Dr. H. Baharuddin Semmaila, SE MSi said that presentations of research proposals by lecturers were still carried out using Zoom Online, so efforts were made to ensure that what had been determined and programmed could continue to run.
"We use an online system for presentations. We have previously equalized perceptions between reviewers, because this is important, so that there are no different perceptions between reviewers, so we have equalized perceptions," he said.
It was also said that the Proposing Research Lecturer had been given socialization for a week before the presentation began. "This is intended so that proposers are prepared to carry out online presentations," he said.
Prof. Dr. H. Baharuddin Semmaila, SE, MSi also added that in 2024, there will be 320 titles received from the Faculty's research scheme, but only around 268 will pass the file. Of these 320 titles, administrative evaluation will be carried out again by evaluators referring to 4 criteria, including; whether the research theme/title is in accordance with the Faculty theme, the second is Lecturer Status (Proposer), the third is Functional Position. The final criterion, the head of the proposer must have a Sprott account. Finally, there are titles that pass to the presentation stage which is held online.
The 320 titles presented will be assessed by 30 reviewers owned by UMI, and of course these reviewers have National Reviewer certificates.
