Following up on the notification from the MINISTRY OF HIGHER EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT regarding Notification of Data Updates on SINTA number: 1164/C3/AL.04/2025 dated 2 October 2025. The Institute for Research and Development of Resources at the Indonesian Muslim University (LP2S-UMI) held a workshop. This workshop aims to facilitate UMI lecturers in updating SINTA data. Updating SINTA data includes: Scopus ID, Garuda ID, and Google Scholar ID for subsequent independent synchronization, intellectual property and book data. Updating data on SINTA can be done until 20 October 2025. The workshop activity involved resource person Prof. Ir. Andi Dirpan, S.T.P., M.P., Ph.D.
Apart from resource persons, this LP2S-UMI activity involved a team of SINTA UMI verifiers, assistants from SINTA UMI Ambassadors, and Institution operators. In his direction, the Chancellor of UMI stated that this activity was very important for lecturers and the institution. In his speech, Prof. Dr. H. Baharuddin Semmaila, SE., M.Si., hopes that this activity can facilitate lecturers who do not understand how to synchronize independently. It is hoped that lecturers who take part in the activity can transfer knowledge to lecturers who have not had the opportunity to take part in this activity. It is hoped that all lecturers will synchronize before October 20 2025 as stated by the LP2S-UMI secretary, Prof. Dr. Ir. Andi Aladin, MT., IPM in his instructions to participants. Participants are divided into 4 batches which are divided into 2 days. Participants were attended by all representatives from all faculties within the Indonesian Muslim University.
