Makassar, 20 May 2025 – UMI Research and Resources Institute (LP2S), has carried out activities to increase the capacity of Pekerti/AA presenters aimed at Pekerti/AA training presenters who already have a TOT certificate. This activity took place in the UMI LP2S Meeting Room on Tuesday 20 May 2025, which was attended by 30 participants. The aim of this activity is to harmonize understanding, increase pedagogical competence and strengthen the technical instructional abilities of the presenters
The event was officially opened by UMI Chancellor Prof. Hambali Talib.
This activity presented resource person Prof. Dr. H. Mansyur Ramli (Chair of the UMI Trustees), and a team of resource persons from the UNHAS Quality Assurance and Education Development Institute), namely Prof. Dr. Ir. Musrizal Muin, M,Sc; Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Nasaruddin Salam, M.T and Mrs. Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., NS., MN., PhD.
Resource person Prof. Dr. H. Mansyur Ramli, explained that Univ. Muslim Indonesia as one of the Pekerti Training organizers from 25 PTs mandated by the Ministry of Education and Technology must have different characteristics from other PTs, be able to present universal Islamic values as characteristics of UMI and be able to organize Pekerti/AA Training based on Artificial Intelligence (AI). The resource person from the Unhas LPMPP TEAM explained that it was necessary to plan before carrying out training activities by holding meetings with facilitators to ensure the readiness of each facilitator to present the material, using a teaching team in presenting each material and all activities were documented in MLS SIKOLA UNHAS.
LP2S UMI hopes that this activity will be carried out periodically to update the skills and information for the presenters to increase the capacity and abilities of the Pekerti/AA Training presenters.
