One of the concrete steps to protect Intellectual Property in the MoU between the Indonesian Muslim University and DJKI Kemenkumham RI is to provide technical patent consultation facilities. There are 5 UMI inventors who received technical consultation facilitation, namely patent application Number: S00202211171 in the name of Dr. Dr. Dian Amelia Abdi, M.Kes., Sp. KK with the title Composition of Mangosteen Peel Extract Cream, Application Number: S00202309781, in the name of Prof. Dr. Ir. Netty, M.Si, with the title Method of Propagating Pepper Seeds Using Trichoderma Technology, Application number: S00202309771 in the name of Dr. Ir. H. Ansarullah F., S.T., M.T., with the title Thermal Panels Made from Chicken Feathers.
Apart from that, the second stage of patent application Number: S00202210163 in the name of 1) Dr. Ir. Rismawati Rasyid, ST., MT, 2) Ir. Munira, ST., M.Eng, with the title Palm Oil Catalytic Cracking Process Using the Koh/Ral203 Catalyst to Produce Liquid Fuel and patent application. Lastly, application number: S00202313089, in the name of Nurmaya Effendi with the title IRGD Cyclic Peptide Synthesis Method. Patent technical consultation activities are carried out in the context of efforts to accelerate substantive patent improvements. After revisions were made, the five patent applications were declared patent worthy or had Granted status. The symbolic handover of the certificate was carried out at the Makassar Heritage Hall Office, Ministry of Law and Human Rights, South Sulawesi on June 4 2024. During the Patent One Stop Service activity. The certificate was symbolically received by the Head of LP2S Prof.Dr. H. Baharuddin Semmaila, SE., M.Sc. accompanied by the Head of the HKI Center Dr. Nurmiati Muchlis, SKM., MKes. The certificate was handed over by Henidar, SH, a representative from the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights. On June 5, certificates will be handed over directly to all inventors who receive grants. In the future, it is hoped that this activity can be participated in by a larger number of UMI lecturers
