Active Learning Training was held again by the UMI Resource Research and Development Institute (LP2S), in the LP2S hall, 06 to 08 August 2018.
This training was opened by UMI Deputy Chancellor I Dr. Ir. H. Hanafi Assad, M.T accompanied by the Chair of LP2S UMI Prof. Dr. H. Syahnur Said, M.S.
UMI Deputy Chancellor 1 in his speech said that this training was very important for improving lecturer performance and increasing student enthusiasm in participating in the learning process.
"Active learning is an effort to improve the quality of lecturers, especially in terms of transferring knowledge to students," he said.
Head of LP2S UMI, Prof. Dr. H. Syahnur Said said that learning methods in the current digital era require lecturers to be able to motivate their students to actively ask questions, in this way dialogue will occur.
"Lecturers must also continue to learn, with the sophistication of technology and the openness of information, it is possible that students know more than their lecturers," he said.
