A total of 26 lecturers at the Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) Makassar took part in Pekerti training for five (5) days, starting from 1 – 5 October 2018 in the LP2S hall of UMI Tower lt. 3.
This training was opened by the Chancellor of UMI Prof. Dr. Basri Modding, M.Si, accompanied by the Head of LP2S UMI Prof. Dr. H. Syahnur Said, M.S.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Basri Modding said that lecturers must be skilled in communicating and delivering their material. "People who have not participated in the pekerti actually cannot teach, because the pekerti is designed to create a teaching program for one semester," he explained.
Prof. Dr. H. Syahnur Said, M.S said, LP2S always carries out evaluations of participants, from time discipline, from following the material because this is the origin of a lecturer as an educational staff.
"Participants are asked to be disciplined in following all the material," he said.
